Zak, Ben, and Jeff were part of the core team of visual effects artists who brought the wild visuals of Oscar-winning film Everything Everywhere All at Once to life. Together with producer and fellow EEAAO alum Judy, Pretend was formed to continue a mission of giving visionary filmmakers access to the powerful storytelling tools of visual effects. 

Because of our backgrounds as directors and creative producers, we take a collaborative approach when it comes to post production. By dedicating our full attention to each project we take on, Pretend is able to harness the same collaborative magic that went into Everything Everywhere All At Once and focus it on a new wave of boundary-pushing, pipeline-breaking, revolutionary cinema.
